We’re building something meaningful.

Manatee Mamas is working to create the kind of homeschool community where moms feel supported, children are encouraged to form genuine friendships and families can share experiences that bring them closer together. A place where people are welcomed with kindness, relationships are nurtured with intention, and every mom and child can feel seen, valued and encouraged.

Because some of the most meaningful parts of homeschooling, and life, are found in the people we walk alongside.

WHAT MATTERS TO US.

We believe community grows through kindness, consistency, encouragement, and showing up for one another. We want Manatee Mamas to be a place where families feel comfortable joining in, friendships have room to deepen, and both moms and kids are reminded that they don’t have to do this season alone.

Kindness. Encouragement. Belonging. Purpose.

Built for connection.

created with purpose.

More than just

somewhere to go.

A community to belong to.

What Guides Us

As a Christian founder, my personal values naturally influence the way I lead, make decisions, and care for our community. However, Manatee Mamas is not a faith-based or religious program. Families may occasionally encounter Christian references, perspectives, music, or conversation during certain activities. Families of differing beliefs are welcome to participate, and parents are encouraged to decide which individual experiences are the best fit for their family.

Our story began when…

our family relocated to Manatee County for my husband’s career. At the time, I was homeschooling my oldest through kindergarten, with my toddler and newborn along for the ride. I was looking for homeschool activities that I could confidently bring all three of my children to, but I was also searching for something deeper -friendship, support and genuine connection with other homeschooling moms.

I found field trips and activities, but I often left feeling like something was missing. Families didn’t always know one another, conversations stayed surface-level and I struggled to find the kind of welcoming community I hoped to build for both my children and myself.

I wanted more than simply showing up at the same place at the same time. I wanted my children to build lasting friendships, and I wanted the same for myself -relationships with depth, support through the homeschool years and a place where moms and kids feel known and included.

I realized no experience is unique. If I needed connection, support and opportunities that worked for my whole family, other moms and kids probably did too.

So I decided to create what I needed.

Manatee Mamas was created to be more than just field trips, educational enrichment or organized activities. It was created to be COMMUNITY -a place where moms and kids can connect, support one another, grow together and make meaningful memories along the way.

Find Connection. Find Community.
